Great place to stay in Raymond Terrace. The owners/ managers are very friendly and helpful.Neat .Clean.Safe and secure. The river front is walking distance and there are number of eateries within 5 min of walk. The restaurant serves good breakfast and dinner.Ample parking space.
I highly recommend The Colonial Terrace Motor Inn. After receiving news that the flight my sisters & I were booked on to return to Brisbane was cancelled til the following evening we were in a panic. It was getting late & we were tired & hungry so we booked a room at The Colonial. The customer service was exceptional, although past closing time they stayed in the office and waited for us to arrive. The rooms were clean, comfortable & great value. We could not thank Joanne, Wayne & Cindy enough for their kindness & help through a stressful 24 hours. Thank you again & if we ever are in Raymond Terrace again we wouldn't stay anywhere else.
I have stayed here about 5 times and will continue to do so on my future trips. The rooms are big and clean and have everything I need for a comfortable stop over. Big comfortable beds, extra blankets and pillows, toiletries, ironing board and iron and a big couch to relax on. The last room we stayed in even had a kitchen style sink, which was nice. I'm not sure if all the rooms have that, but I will be requesting that one again as it is really nice for filling up the kettle and washing the cups instead of using a bathroom sink. There is a nice little sunny restaurant with lovely windows where you can have your breakfast buffet style. This is much nicer than having room delivery especially if you are not quite sure what time you want it. They have lots of fresh and dried fruit, juices, and a range of different breads for toasting. You can also order a hot meal I think. The service is great in the cafe and at reception. Last time we could not get there until quite late and they kept the reception open until we arrived.
